Octagon Academy is a martial arts gym in Bucharest with 7 classes: BJJ Gi and No-Gi, MMA, kids BJJ, kickboxing, Muay Thai, boxing and self-defence. We train adults from day one to advanced level and kids from age 6, in groups by level, and every new member is personally looked after by the head coach during their first months. Your first lesson is free.

WHAT YOUR FIRST SESSION LOOKS LIKE

Fill in the form or message us on WhatsApp. We'll call you within an hour during opening hours to set the day.

Arrive 10 minutes early
We'll show you around the gym and changing rooms and introduce you to the coach. All you need is sportswear and water.

A session adapted to your level
Warm-up, basic technique and partner drills, with no sparring in your first lesson.

A chat at the end
The coach tells you which group suits you. You decide whether to continue, with no pressure.

Do I need any experience?

No. You can start from scratch. Groups are split by level, and the coach adapts the exercises.
From what age do you take kids?

From age 6, in kids BJJ, in separate age groups.
How much is a membership?

We offer monthly session packages, valid for any class, any day on the schedule. Prices are on the Prices page. Your first lesson is free.
What should I bring to my first lesson?

For your first lesson you only need sportswear and water. We'll advise you on equipment at the gym.
Where is the gym and where can I park?

The gym is in Bucharest. The address, map and directions are on the Contact page.
Do you speak Russian or English?

We have a Russian-speaking coach. The site is also available in Ukrainian, Russian and English (language selector in the menu).
