Terms and Conditions | Octagon Academy

1. Acceptance of the terms

By signing up at Octagon Academy and using our MMA, boxing and martial arts training services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Registration and memberships

Registration requirements:

• Children under 18 take part with the consent of a parent or guardian
• Completing the registration form and the medical declaration
• Presenting a medical certificate for sport
• Paying the membership fee (the first lesson is free)

3. Rules of conduct and safety

Mandatory rules:

• Following the coaches' instructions at all times
• Wearing the mandatory protective equipment
• Reporting any medical condition or injury
• Respectful behaviour towards other members
• Keeping the common areas clean

Prohibited behaviour:

• Consuming alcohol or prohibited substances
• Aggressive or violent behaviour outside of training
• Filming or taking photos without consent
• Training unsupervised when this is not permitted

4. Risks and responsibilities

WARNING: Contact sports involve risks!

• You take part in all activities at your own risk
• The gym is not responsible for injuries sustained during training
• Medical insurance is the responsibility of each member
• Personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner
• Taking out sports insurance is recommended

5. Schedule and bookings

• The schedule may be changed with at least 24 hours' notice
• Bookings are made via the form on the website, by phone or on WhatsApp
• Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours in advance
• Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in losing your place

6. Suspension and termination

Grounds for suspension:

• Failure to comply with the rules of conduct
• Repeated late payments
• Behaviour that endangers safety
• Lack of a valid medical certificate

Termination of the contract:

• 30 days' notice for termination
• The request must be made in writing
• Financial obligations remain valid until the termination date

7. Data protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the applicable law (GDPR). The data is used exclusively to provide our services and to improve the member experience.

8. Changes to the terms

Octagon Academy reserves the right to amend these terms. Members will be notified by email or by a notice posted at the gym. Continued use of the services after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
